Thank you for taking a look into my world! My name is Jody Geijsendorpher and I am a.. creative. Ever since I can remember, my mind existed inside of a magical universe. One that didn’t exist in the real world, but one that made me go into my career path that I am in nowadays. I loved to read books, watch movies, play games that all had to do with diving into different worlds, time eras, planets or different characters. And on top of that, I loved a touch of psychology. How humans act, interact, what they experience or not experience. The dark places, the reflective mirrors, emotions we all have but not always admit to. I like to dive into the deep, into the unknown and I like to experiment. And this is something that you will find back in the art that I create as a maker nowadays. I am a choreographer, dancer, screenwriter and director.

I graduated from Fontys Higher Education of Fine and Performing Arts as a performing dancer, Contemporary-Urban. I am trained as an allround dancer and did multiple jobs in the commercial-, theater- and hiphop scene internationally. But nowadays I work more as a choreographer in multiple fields.

Not so long ago I discovered my love for filmmaking. In january 2024 I will graduate as a screenwriter from the Scenario Vakschool in Amsterdam. In the mean time I am developing as a self-made director. This I do by writing and directing my own  movies.
